Contact: Holly Cooper, Marketing Director, Digonex Technologies, Inc. (317) 638-4150 X213

Franklin, TN., -- PassAlong Networks™, Nettwerk Music and Digonex® Technologies today announced the launch of a joint variable-priced MP3 pilot, the music industry’s first offering of fully variably-priced downloadable music. Using patented Digonex pricing technology, PassAlong is able to adjust retail pricing on a weekly basis for Nettwerk Music’s MP3 catalog.

Album prices are adjusted up or down according to the consumer demand-driven Digonex pricing engine, which systematically changes pricing based on Internet economics and consumer behavioral principles. Most album prices fluctuate between $3.30 and $9.99. Singles are dynamically-priced at one of three possible price tiers: $.33, $.66 or $.99.

“We are thrilled to partner with Nettwerk and Digonex to launch this pricing pilot, a true industry-first for music downloads,” said Dave Jaworski, co-founder and CEO of PassAlong Networks. “We are extremely optimistic about this test and we think that it will show how dynamic pricing can benefit the marketplace.”

Consumer demand helps determine the pricing for approximately 150 fully variably-priced albums and the appropriate price tier for more than 1,500 singles. Prices will be updated at noon CDT every Wednesday throughout the test. The variably-priced albums and tier-priced singles are offered through PassAlong’s digital media services engine, StoreBlocks™, which currently powers more than 130 music download stores including JAZZIZ Magazine and TransWorld's f.y.e. – for your entertainment online music store.

“Nettwerk is extremely interested in how varying pricing in the marketplace affects consumption,” said Brent Muhle, who leads digital initiatives for Nettwerk. “Digonex and PassAlong have a created a mechanism that allows our artists to define the market with their fans rather than passively participating with retailers.”

Nettwerk Music’s MP3 catalog is made up of dozens of artists including Sarah McLachlan, Barenaked Ladies, Leigh Nash and The Weepies.

“Nettwerk and PassAlong are to be commended for their pioneering spirit in adapting Digonex's Dynamic Pricing system for this pilot,” said Jan Eglen, CEO of Digonex Technologies, Inc. “This launch represents the first deeply rooted technological and business effort to address the two major banes to the music marketplace - fair pricing and wide interoperability.”

The pricing pilot runs through late 2007. Throughout the pilot consumer responses and pricing results will be reviewed and adjustments made accordingly.

October 03, 2007 - Javien and Digonex Partnership to Enhance E-Commerce Capabilities for Music Industry

Contact: Holly Cooper, Marketing Director, Digonex Technologies, Inc. (317) 638-4150 X213

Indianapolis, In., -- Digonex Technologies, a leading provider of price optimization technology for the digital media market and Javien Digital Payment Solutions, Inc., an e-commerce platform provider, today announced that they have partnered to offer the digital music market and other content providers seamless integration between the two platforms. Both companies are participating in the Digital Music Forum West event in Los Angeles this week.

With Digonex's platform, Javien customers who are selling music to end-users have the ability to price each MP3 according to market demand. For example, a rarely downloaded MP3 from 1999 could be priced at 25 cents while a red-hot single from the latest pop star could sell for 50 cents or more due to high consumer demand. That same single's price could be driven upward the next day to reflect buyer behavior after a national media exposure event.

Javien DPS V8.0 is a total commerce platform that includes built-in support for online and off-deck mobile sales of digital content and physical goods. Merchants can take advantage of a host of billing options including bill to cell phone, bill to land line phone, Premium SMS and WAP billing, bill to PayPal and Click and Buy accounts, and ACH. The platform also offers an adaptive micropayment aggregation engine called Javien Micropay ideally suited for music sites due to the small ticket sales associated with their digital content.

With Digonex's dynamic pricing solution, Digital Online Exchange, merchants gain the advantage of price optimization. Using custom pricing solutions the Digital Online Exchange optimally prices products based on consumer demand. As a result of setting prices according to the market, consumers believe the prices are fair because they are participating in the pricing process, and sellers obtain the maximum return on product sales.

"Digonex's goal is to automate the successful profit optimization processes that digital content providers already have in place, and then improve upon them by keeping prices as relevant as possible to the market on a unit-by-unit basis," said Rex Fisher, Vice President, Business Development for Digonex. "This partnership is very exciting for us - it provides an opportunity to leverage Javien's strong position in the market. By introducing our element of dynamic pricing to Javien's products and services, customers can achieve greater profit margins on their online transactions."

"As a provider of a total commerce solution, we are always seeking new opportunities to enhance our offerings. Digonex has a very smart technology that will easily integrate with our solution to provide our customers with dynamic pricing which will surely be attractive to consumers," said Leslie Poole, Javien CEO. "We are pleased to have forged this partnership and look forward to working together to reach new customers in entertainment, media and publishing."

February 28, 2007 - Nettwerk Music, PassAlong Networks and Digonex Technologies to Pilot Music Industry's First Variable-Pricing Model for MP3 Music Downloads

Contact: Holly Cooper, Marketing Director, Digonex Technologies, Inc. (317) 638-4150 X213

FRANKLIN, TN -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 28, 2007 -- PassAlong Networks™, developer of digital media innovations and services, today announced an agreement with Nettwerk Music and Digonex® Technologies, Inc. to pilot the music industry's first variable-pricing model for MP3 downloads. Using patented Digonex pricing technology, PassAlong will test variable pricing for Nettwerk Music's MP3 catalog in the 44 stores it powers through its StoreBlocks™ platform. Prices for individual tracks will range from $0.29 to $1.39.

Nettwerk Music, who manages artists such as Sarah McLachlan, Avril Lavigne, Barenaked Ladies, Jars of Clay, Leigh Nash, Guster and dozens more, will make available most of its MP3 catalog for the tiered-pricing pilot.

"We are in the business of building brand and making content readily available to the fans of our artists," said Terry McBride, CEO of Nettwerk Music. "We owe it to our artists and their fans to continue to explore new models. We look forward to breaking new ground with PassAlong Networks and Digonex on this pilot test."

Music labels and online retailers have resisted calls for variable pricing despite suggestions that fixed prices stimulate illegal downloads. "With so much debate raging over fixed pricing, we're excited to be first-to-market with a variable pricing model," said Dave Jaworski, co-founder and CEO of PassAlong Networks. "The goal is to maximize revenue by pricing digital content in a way that motivates consumers."

The multi-tiered pricing feature for Nettwerk's MP3 catalog will be offered in PassAlong's digital media services engine, StoreBlocks, which currently powers more than 44 music download stores, including eBay®'s and Procter & Gamble's. Nettwerk's MP3 songs will be offered in prices ranging from $0.29 to $1.39. The song price will then be adjusted up or down according to the Digonex consumer demand driven pricing engine, which systematically changes pricing based on Internet economics and consumer behavioral principles.

The pricing pilot is to begin this spring and extend through early fall. Results will be reviewed periodically and adjustments made to the pilot accordingly.

"Our technology is designed for properly pricing digital content," said Jan Eglen, CEO of Digonex Technologies, Inc. "We're glad to combine with partners that can provide a high-caliber content catalog and a world-class digital distribution network to make this type of pilot a success."

The PriceCoaster Store, featuring Digonex Technologies, Inc.’s dynamic pricing service, PriceCoaster, is now open on eBay. Prices for the products in the store will rise or fall daily based on a variety of economic variables including demand, giving consumers a true fair market price. The Pricecoaster service is also now available for eBay Store owners to take the guesswork out of pricing their products by using real time market factors to determine the best prices for each of their products.

PriceCoaster is an eBay certified application that gives eBay Store owners the power to integrate their Store Inventory Format items and change product prices according to demand for products. Prices can be continuously adjusted to the level where maximum sales are derived for any given period of time. The service works best for high volumes of identical items with a definite end date, such as those with an expiration date or seasonal items.

According to Jan Eglen, CEO of Digonex Technologies, Inc. “Knowing how difficult the store marketplace can be, we are happy to unveil the PriceCoaster Store now to give buyers and sellers a peek at what we think will be an excellent way for eBay store owners to maximize profits during the Holiday season. Our gift to all our eBay store vendor friends is to make the PriceCoaster system completely free to use until the end of the year.”

Digonex is also the developer of Nabit®, a free auction tracking tool with international search capabilities that allows buyers to search, bid and buy on eBay. Store owners who sign up for PriceCoaster now will receive a free custom version of Nabit to which they can preload hot listings to send out to their customer base.

The PriceCoaster Store can be accessed at www.pricecoasterstore.com. Sellers interested in subscribing to the dynamic pricing service can get more information at www.pricecoaster.com

Indianapolis based software developer, Digonex Technologies, Inc., announced today that a new dynamic pricing service for eBay sellers will be available in early November. Utilizing Digonex’s recently patented dynamic pricing system, PriceCoaster is an eBay certified application that allows eBay sellers to take the guesswork out of pricing their products.

PriceCoaster will soon be available for eBay Store owners and will integrate with their Store Inventory Format items while changing product prices according to demand for products. Prices can be continuously adjusted to the level where maximum sales are derived for any given period of time. The service works best for high volumes of identical items with a definite end date, such as those with an expiration date or seasonal items.

As demand for various products rises and falls throughout a given day, week, etc., PriceCoaster monitors price fluctuations and alters prices accordingly so that clients are able to react quickly and take maximum advantage of their market. Digonex is also the developer of Nabit®, a free auction tracking tool with international search capabilities that allows buyers to search, bid and buy on eBay.

According to Jan Eglen, CEO of Digonex Technologies, Inc. “Pricecoaster stimulates demand for goods in times of low demand by systematically decreasing price bringing buyers back into the marketplace. Thus it has the potential of decreasing or eliminating re-listing fees for sellers. We believe it will help sellers maximize profits and build customer loyalty. We are releasing it now so sellers and buyers can both take advantage of great opportunities during the holiday season. Like Nabit, PriceCoaster is another way we are creating products that enhance the eBay experience.”

July 18, 2006 - DIGONEX® AWARDED PATENT FOR INNOVATIVE DYNAMIC PRICING TECHNOLOGY

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Indianapolis, IN
July 18, 2006
Contact: Holly Cooper, Marketing Director, Digonex Technologies, Inc. (317) 638-4150 X213

Digonex Technologies, Inc., an Indianapolis based software development company, announced today that it has been awarded a patent for the Digital Online Exchange (DOE), a dynamic commerce engine that systematically changes prices based upon behavioral and econometric demand marketing principles.

The patent issued today covers the adjusting of price for items, online or off in a dynamic real time fashion. This includes adjusting price based on profit optimization variables that are set before the sale of an item begins and time based price adjusting.
Using a proprietary algorithm system, DOE continuously identifies the ‘sweet spot’ where prices follow perceived market value and generate the maximum economic return. DOE works for any retailer, capturing additional revenue during times of peak demand and stimulating sales once demand subsides.

According to Jan Eglen, CEO of Digonex Technologies, Inc., “DOE is unique because it optimizes profitability while giving consumers fair prices. It’s a new economic system where consumer demand sets the prices and whole catalogues are priced correctly. This is the true long tail economic system. It is a very exciting time; this patent recognizes the pioneering efforts by our dedicated technical and business staff and the support of our shareholders.”

DOE is able to integrate into a variety of database setups employed by clients. Adapting to a growing market opportunity, Digonex has evolved the pricing platform into a flexible, portable technology designed to meet the growing market demand for dynamic pricing infrastructures. A technical overview of DOE can be found at http://www.digonex.com/Press/Digonex_Overview_Press_7_06.pdf

June 13, 2006 - GET WHATEVER WHEREVER WORLDWIDE ON EBAY WITH NABIT (2.0)

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Las Vegas, NV
June 13, 2006
Contact: Holly Cooper, Marketing Director, Digonex Technologies, Inc. (317) 638-4150 X213

Digonex Technologies, Inc., an Indiana based software development company and member of the eBay developers program, launched Nabit version 2.0 today at eBay Live! Nabit allows buyers to search, bid and win anywhere in the world where eBay has a presence. This straightforward desktop application raises the bar for global search with enhanced search features, support of 22 countries worldwide from which to buy and sell items, and capability to bid.

Using Nabit, buyers are able to bid, search for or watch items, and receive outbid notices without opening their Web browser to the eBay site. By sharing information seamlessly and automatically with the user’s eBay watch list, updates made in Nabit, such as removing or adding items, are automatically made on eBay as well. Likewise, every change made in the eBay watch list is reflected in Nabit. Pop-up notifications alert buyers when they have been outbid; when they win or lose a auction; when the price changes on an item being watched; and when any auction they are watching is about to expire.

Nabit also allows users to search for items in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Netherlands, Philippines, Poland, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Nabit is a robust auction tracking desktop application with multi-language capabilities. Buyers can choose to have their Nabit user interface in English, French, German or Mandarin and also select which of the 22 countries through which they wish to connect to eBay. Prices in Nabit are then displayed in the currency of the eBay site to which the user is connected. A person using the English user interface but connected through the German eBay site will have their tracked item prices listed in Euros.

“We have taken a great tool for tracking and bidding on auctions and increased its range dramatically, allowing global search results from 22 countries to happen simultaneously and quickly,” said Digonex Technologies, Inc. CEO Jan Eglen. Adding, “Nabit opens up the world and enhances international trade by taking it right down to individuals engaging in “one on one” world ecommerce from a very small footprint application on their desktop.”

Users can search by choosing different criteria to filter for the item they are seeking without having to dig through a huge list of unwanted items. UPC and ISBN can also be entered directly into Nabit for specific item searches. Nabit also supports saved searches allowing those who search for a similar product on a regular basis to search again later. More information and free downloads are available at www.nabit.com.

January 17, 2006 - PROCEEDS FROM NEW MUSIC SINGLE BENEFIT THE NATIONAL CENTER FOR MISSING & EXPLOITED CHILDREN

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
January 17, 2006
Contact: Holly Cooper, Marketing Director, Digonex Technologies, Inc. (317) 638-4150 X213

A newly released song “Hide and Seek” uses the metaphor of a child’s game to describe the upside-down reality of a missing child, yearning to be found by his or her mother. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, an average of 2,100 children are reported missing every day; thankfully the large majority of these children are recovered. Nevertheless, a missing child can be an emotional nightmare for the child’s family and friends.

The single will be released January 17 and can be downloaded through April 30, at www.hideandseekdonate.com. Every time the song is downloaded, 25 percent of the 99-cent download will be donated to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) to help continue its mission of finding missing children and preventing child sexual exploitation. Digonex Technologies, Inc., the Digital Media Association, Avanade Inc. and M-30 Communications are working together to raise funds for NCMEC and increase awareness for the plight of missing children.

“The proceeds from the song download help NCMEC to continue our efforts to reunite missing children with their families and prevent child sexual exploitation,” said Ernie Allen, president and CEO of NCMEC.

Last Spring Jan Eglen, CEO and president of the Indianapolis-based Digonex Technologies, was riveted by the highly-publicized Florida abductions and felt compelled to do something to help. Spurred on by mail from Amy Elliott of Kansas City who wanted to do something similar, the “Hide and Seek” initiative was formed, and Cindi Clark was asked to write the song. MusicRebellion.com, a subsidiary of Digonex, provided the production manpower to launch the song as a digital download. Eglen also invited DiMA, Avanade and M-30 Communications to join the initiative.

“Through this song we are providing funds to assist the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children in the search for missing children,” said Eglen, “but this song also serves as opportunity to raise awareness about missing children.” Eglen has seen the impact on children first hand. As a licensed psychologist he has conducted more than 1,000 child abuse evaluations. “Mitigating the early window of opportunity (time) is significant so resources are in place to get the child back to safety as soon as possible. Professionals know the three-hour period that elapses after a child is reported missing is a critical time period. This song says so much, it all culminates in the final line of the song, Please don’t give up seeking until we’re found.”

As the song took shape, Michael Wanchic, vice president of Digital Media at Digonex, presented the demo to Grammy award-winning vocalist Sylvia McNair. She immediately embraced the cause and the lyrics with the deep concern and hopefulness needed from a mother’s voice. Noelle Wanchic, Michael’s daughter and an accomplished singer, provided the vocal sweetness of the daughter longing to be found, pleading for her mother to never give up looking. Wanchic produced the song and Mark Hood co-produced the song in association with Echo Park Studios in Bloomington, IN.

A coalition of supporters are providing assistance to the Hide and Seek initiative to promote the song and these efforts:

  • Digonex Technologies Inc./MusicRebellion.Com coordinated the efforts to produce and promote the song, provide it as a download and forward funds to the NCMEC.
  • Members of the Digital Media AssociationAssociation are promoting the song through their digital music services.
  • Avanade, a leading global technology integrator and joint venture of Accenture and Microsoft, is providing assistance with technical aspects of the campaign and the use of technology to help inform the public about the Hide and Seek initiative.
  • M-30 Communications, based in Toronto, Canada, developed a 30-second PSA featuring the music and a video to complement iPod and other video applications.

About the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children
NCMEC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Justice's Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. NCMEC's congressionally mandated CyberTipline, a reporting mechanism for child sexual exploitation, has handled more than 350,000 leads. Since its establishment in 1984, NCMEC has assisted law enforcement with more than 111,000 missing child cases, resulting in the recovery of more than 96,500 children. December 16, 2005 - DIGONEX SOFTWARE BRINGS THE GLOBAL EBAY MARKETPLACE TO YOUR DESKTOP

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
December 16, 2005
Contact: Holly Cooper, Marketing Director, Digonex Technologies, Inc. (317) 638-4150 X213

eBay® users can now use an eBay compatible desktop application, Nabit™, version 1.2 to bid, watch items, or be notified of being outbid without opening their Web browser. Nabit 1.2 is a free download from Digonex Technologies, Inc. and provides access to cross-border shopping throughout the U.S., Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and Singapore. Nabit 1.2 users now have the capability to select the country from which they will monitor and buy items on eBay and bid directly from Nabit, streamlining their eBay experience.

Nabit version 1.2 will be available starting on these dates for the following countries:

  • Dec. 19, 2005 U.S, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and Singapore.

“Nabit 1.2 is the first step in our global initiative to bring a user-friendly desktop application to eBay,” said Jan Eglen, CEO and president of the Indianapolis-based Digonex Technologies Inc. “The technology allows consumers to bid directly from their desktop on eBay items without ever opening their eBay Web browser. All Nabit version 1.1 users will automatically be upgraded to version 1.2.”

Digonex is a member of the eBay Developers Program. As a recognized eBay compatible application, Nabit allows secure, direct bidding from a user’s desktop. The original Nabit application was introduced last June at eBay Live! for U.S. applications.

Nabit shares information seamlessly and automatically with the user’s eBay watch list. Updates made in Nabit, such as removing or adding items, are automatically made in the user’s watch list; likewise, every change made in the watch list is reflected in Nabit. Pop-up notifications alert buyers when they have been outbid, win or lose a bid, when the price changes on an item they are watching, or if their auction-style listing is about to expire.

Buyers can also export their Nabit watch list and send it as an email attachment where it is downloaded and imported by other Nabit users. The application also auto-refreshes to keep buyers aware of changes and can be manually updated as often as the buyer likes. As a listing nears its end, the application auto-refreshes more frequently.

Auctionbytes freelance writer Mark O’Neill reviewed Nabit from a buyer’s perspective, “The (Nabit) interface is well designed, aesthetically pleasing and a thrill to use.” He added, “(Nabit) is able to monitor live eBay listings from the computer desktop without having to go to the eBay site.”

Several Nabit features customize the program to the buyer’s preferences: adjustable scrolling, custom sorting, and importing eBay watch lists.

The eBay item number and a picture of the item (if provided by the seller) are shown on Nabit. Throughout the eBay experience, Nabit shows the time remaining for the listing, the current bid and price, as well as the seller identification and feedback rating. For a free download of Nabit, go to www.getnabit.com. First time eBay users will be directed to www.eBay.com to register as a new user. Unlike many other applications, Nabit does not collect a buyer’s username or password, making Nabit very sensitive to the eBay user’s anonymity.

Contact: Holly Cooper, Marketing Director, Digonex Technologies, Inc. (317) 638-4150 X213

Software development company Digonex Technologies, Inc. today announced the development of Nabit™ new eBay listing tracking tool. Nabit is the first listing tracking tool designed to combine advertising and distribution with listing watching, bidding, and organization features.

“Nabit was created as a multi-featured listing tracking tool that permits buyers to monitor many listings concurrently without going to the e-Bay website. At the same time, it will help sellers increase their reach exponentially by finding their targeted buying audience and help reduce the need for relisting,” says Digonex Technologies CEO Jan Eglen. Eglen made today’s announcement to attending media and members of the e-Bay community at the e-Bay Live! Community Conference in San Jose, CA.

Nabit allows Powersellers to pre-load ten of their items in the software. Each buyer who downloads Nabit from a Powerseller will have their items featured in allocated listing fields. These items can be switched around instantly; Nabit makes managing inventory easy. Buyers can download the software for free, import their eBay watchlists, sort their listings, and take advantage of many other helpful features.

“We recognized the need for a software tool that could improve the selling experience and simultaneously provide buyers with the freedom and control they desire. I believe Nabit will position Digonex to powerfully move forward in the eBay revolution because it introduces a compelling model for broad distribution in e-commerce. We are extremely excited and optimistic about this tool it’s efficient, easy to use, and best of all, it’s FREE to buyers,” concludes Eglen. Buyers and sellers can learn more about Nabit at www.getnabit.com.

Online music retailer MusicRebellion.com announced today that the company will offer all 2,300 DePauw University students legal music through the company's Web-based platform starting August 24th. This is the first signed university affiliate agreement for MusicRebellion, a division of Digonex Technologies Inc.

MusicRebellion will offer DePauw students music on a pay-per-download basis without charging any added fees to the university or the students, like those imposed by other music providers. The songs will be priced using the Digonex demand driven pricing system and will be automatically updated on the website according to student demand.

"We are very excited that DePauw University, a great educational institution, is making our music system available to its students," said Jan Eglen, Ph.D., CEO of Digonex Technologies. "What we're announcing today amounts to a landmark agreement between vendor and college that offers the fairest pricing system in a legal market, most complete educational program for universities, and a return of a portion of each sale as a contribution towards scholarships."

Students at DePauw will have the option to complete an education module, created by MusicRebellion, which gives an overview of music and the ramifications for pirating media. In return for a completed education module, each student will receive a $3 credit in their online account.

DePauw students will be able to submit their own original music to be placed alongside major label content on the MusicRebellion website. In addition, Mike Wanchic, producer and leader of the John Mellencamp Band, will offer a master class for students.

"As a DePauw alumnus and a performing artist, I am pleased to be able to offer my alma mater the most complete educational program of any digital music university distribution system," said Wanchic.? "I have chosen to associate with MusicRebellion in the highly competitive music industry download business in an admittedly difficult economic environment because this system is the fairest to consumers, artists, and stakes holders, and MusicRebellion has a deep and proven commitment to helping educate students in an ethically constructive manner."

"Our partnership with MusicRebellion will serve as a national model for how colleges and universities can address the problem of illegal downloading of music without restricting student choice," says Dennis Trinkle, Ph.D., Chief Information Officer at DePauw. "What this partnership creates is a way for DePauw to provide a venue for students to access the music they want: legally and conveniently. And, since MusicRebellion will be donating 1% of all sales back to DePauw for student scholarships, every time students buy music, they are helping themselves."

Dr. Trinkle says DePauw has been stressing "healthy computing" to its students: examining such things as managing information overload, ergonomics, and the ethical implications of technology. "This agreement will effectively promote the practices we preach about," he says.
