-- Indianapolis-based
Curtis Publishing announced
today that their Saturday
Evening Post Norman
Rockwell collectible
holiday ornament set
will be sold exclusively
online by Digonex Technologies
using Digonex Community
Driven Pricing™ platform.
This special ornament
set includes ten ornaments
packed in a decorative
gift box depicting
holiday scenes by both
Norman Rockwell and
J. C. Leyendecker,
Rockwell’s mentor and
fellow Post artist.
Curtis Publishing will partner with another Indianapolis-based company, Digonex Technologies Inc. to price the Norman Rockwell Saturday Evening Post ornaments on www.pricecoaster.com. The Digonex Community Driven Pricing™ is customized for the online marketplace so that the price of the ornaments will rise and fall as market conditions change. As the price fluctuates based on demand, the technology will search for the market's "sweet spot."
According to Joan SerVaas, CEO of Curtis Publishing, “We are pleased to work with Digonex through their dynamic pricing technology. We see this as an exciting opportunity to reach consumers with a classic American icon collectible, offering a quality product at a very good price.” This is one of Curtis Publishing’s first ventures in offering their products through an online marketer.
The ornaments will be priced competitively and will fluctuate based on consumer demand. According to Digonex CEO Jan Eglen, “This is a great value proposition for consumers who would like to get a fair market price on a classic collectible, with each buyer actually helping to determine the price. In addition, this will be a demonstration of the first use of our dynamic pricing e-commerce platform selling hard goods, and we have selected a very fitting American icon to showcase this significant model.”
Digonex Technologies is set to launch the offering of the Rockwell Saturday Evening Post collectible ornaments today through PriceCoaster.com. These special collectible ornaments are available at the following link: www.pricecoaster.com.
Curtis Publishing is the exclusive licensor of Norman Rockwell’s universally famous artwork from both The Saturday Evening Post and The Country Gentleman magazines, including over 300 of his most recognizable and beloved works.
