Indianapolis, IN. -- Digonex Technologies, Inc., a provider of real-time, demand-driven automated pricing solutions today announced that Harry Sandler has joined the company as Director of Strategic Ticketing. Harry brings more than 30 years of tour management and concert promotion experience to the Digonex team.

Sandler started at the Fillmore East in New York with the legendary Bill Graham. In addition to the Fillmore East he has managed tours for Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Nicks, John Mellencamp, Billy Joel, Eagles and Van Halen as well as being Touring Director at Frontline Management and Azoffmusic. Sandler will provide strategic advice in the structuring of pilot projects and implementation of Digonex’s rollout of dynamic pricing for event tickets.

“ Harry is a legend in the event ticketing and tour management business. The artists and entertainment industry leaders that he’s worked with are proof of his impressive experience,” said Jan Eglen, Ph.D., CEO of Digonex. “Harry will help Digonex take event ticket pricing to a new level of value and profitability in the industry while providing the fairest ticket buying systems for consumers. We are thrilled to add Harry to our team.”

Harry joins an already impressive team of experts at Digonex including Mike Wanchic, vice president of digital media, and music director and guitarist of the John Mellencamp Band, who brings a keen insight from an artist’s perspective to event ticketing. In addition, the company’s team includes consulting economist Rafi Mohammed, Ph.D., author of The Art of Pricing who wrote his doctoral dissertation on pricing and bundling ticket pricing strategies in the rock concert industry. Mohammed’s new pricing strategy book, The 1% Windfall, will be published by HarperCollins in February 2010.

This announcement coincides with Digonex vice president of strategy, Jeff Eglen’s panel presentation at the 2009 Ticket Summit this week at the Venetian Hotel Casino in Las Vegas. One of the largest trade shows in the ticket industry, Jeff will be speaking on a panel entitled, “Pricing Strategies for Ticket Sellers” on Friday, July 17.
